So much of life in New Orleans is lived on the street.  Despite the unrelenting heat of Spring, Summer, and often even Fall, New Orleanians live their lives not only inside their homes but on their porches, in the streets, under the overpasses, in public spaces.  From Social Aid and Pleasure Club Second Line Parades to festivals to spontaneous celebrations to simply watching the world pass from the front porch, life is found here outdoors.
